I have a background in economics and finance, hands-on experience in risk and data work, and a strong technical focus on programming, Linux systems, automation, interfaces, and machine learning. I work best where analytical thinking and practical implementation need to meet.

My philanthropy is usually personal rather than institutional. I tend to back individuals directly by support of people's plans and try to give them a better chance of where they want to go. I also make much of the software and tooling I design available for others to use by open-sourcing a large part of what I build and releasing it under open-source and copyleft licences, including licences such as MIT and GPLv2.
